Stanbury Scarf & Lord commenced business on the 1^st of April 1981 and is division of Stanbury Electrical Engineering Ltd.

• In 1980 the decision was made to focus all production on battery chargers for the materials handling industry.
• In 1980, Stanbury Electrical Engineering Ltd. created two Australian distribution and service branches. These two facilities operate under the name Stanbury, Scarf, and Lord.
• In 1986, Stanbury Electrical Engineering began R&D on a project to bring switch mode technology to an industrial battery application.
• In 1990, Stanbury Electrical Engineering began field testing of their first 150 prototypes. Great care was taken to produce the most reliable product possible before going to market.
• In 1994 full-scale production of the New Generation switch mode chargers began. The new NG line was made available throughout Australia and New Zealand.
• In 1997, Stanbury Electrical Engineering's NG chargers reached a market share of 70% for all new charger sales.
• In 2002, Stanbury Electrical Engineering completed the UL listing process for the NG switch mode chargers.
• In 2003, Stanbury Electrical Engineering established its first United States branch in Bellevue WA.]
• Stanbury Scarf and Lord Pty Ltd is the support base for all Australian Sales and Service.
• In 2007 the "INFINITY" Rapid Charger was introduced to the American market.
• In 2008 "INFINITY" is being introduced to the Australian market.
